FAQ

Do you do print commissions

At present I don’t take on commissions

I have seen a print in the portfolio but it’s not available in the shop, can I still buy it?

Many of the pieces in the portfolio are older prints or have sold. However if there’s something in particular you like get in touch as it may still be available. Alternatively I have an etsy shop www.etsy.com/uk/shop/KateWatkinsPrints which has a different selection of work.

How long does it take for orders to ship?

I aim to ship orders in 1-3 business days, this can be a little longer at busy times or for larger artworks. I will notify you if there are seasonal delays. If you need to meet a specific deadline please contact me prior to ordering. See shipping T&C’s for detailed information.

Do you have a gallery where I can see your prints in person?

I don’t have a gallery I work with at present but take part in several local (to Hampshire UK) and national exhibitions throughout the year. By signing up the mailing list you’ll get advance notice of forthcoming exhibitions or you can follow me on Instagram @katewatkinsart

What if I change my mind about an item?

Every effort is made to photograph and show an accurate representation of the art works. However if you change your mind once received you have 14 days to get in touch to discuss return & refund. See shipping T&C’s for detailed information.

Do you offer discounts

If you sign up to the newsletter there’s a 10% discount code off your first order. I’ll occasionally (around 4 times a year) send you newsletters with information about new products, artwork, sales, studio news and events etc

Do you teach classes?

I don’t currently teach in person printmaking classes as that’s my part time day job. I’m a complete print geek though so happy to answer questions. On my blog you’ll find some print tutorials as well as insight into my printing processes and images in the process gallery of some of the techniques I use. I’ll be adding to these through the coming months.

Where can I learn more about the print process described?

There’s a blog post on it’s way which explains the different print processes I use.

A print I like has sold, do you have any more?

Most of my more recent geometric and abstract pieces are one offs which mean there is only one. There will be similar designs within the collection. Alternatively you could order a high quality giclée print of the sold design.

Can you print some of your other designs as giclée prints?

In short yes, get in touch and I’ll see what I can do.

Do you do framing/cut mounts for the prints?

As a solo artist this isn’t something I’m able to offer at present due to time constraints.

Some of the prints are already mounted or framed so are already prepared. I’m working on a blog post with advice about framing which will be published soon.
