I started Love to Print in 2017 to share my love of printmaking. After studying Fine Art I trained to be a teacher and have taught art and photography for over 18 years alongside being an artist. When I took a short career break launching Love to Print Art Kits seemed a good way to combine my two passions; printmaking and teaching.

The popular Essentials cyanotype kit (formerly called the pouch kit) now comes packaged in a box with postcard sized paper so you can harness the power of the sun to make permanent blue prints. Combining art and science the process is affordable and easy to use. Suitable for beginners or those with experience, it also makes a great home learning activity with children (just leave the chemical mixing to the adults).
Add water to both bottles, shake to dissolve, mix equal parts A&B together & brush onto paper or fabric in subdued light. Once dry you can place your chosen objects e.g. leaves, feathers etc in contact with the paper & expose to light. After exposure rinse out in water and leave to dry to allow colour to fully develop to create your own distinctive prussian blue prints.
